GREENCITYBUILDINGCOMPANY acquired the santa monica project, a 0.7-acre vacant lot in prime silver lake. the site is located proximate to multiple proposed major developments and within one half block of sunset junction, the epicenter of one of the most desirable neighborhoods in los angeles.
originally conceived of as a smaller scale development, the site was caught in an unrelated, larger hollywood-area lawsuit and downzoned, and unfavorable soils conditions were discovered necessitating reconfiguration of the project. nonetheless the site was successfully prepared, packaged, and ultimately aquired and built by a major national developer.
