GREENCITYBUILDINGCOMPANY is the architect for the ridgeley sites, two twelve and six house small lot subdivisions in the mid-city neighborhood of los angeles.
conceived as partner projects to be developed concurrently, ridgeley one and two are typical, vernacular subdivisions that still seek to be modern, unique, and beneficial to their neighborhood. the proposed projects are under the allowable density, height, and FAR for the sites. the houses front the street with a distinct pedestrian focus, and the projects employ sustainable features including high performance envelopes, renewable and low/no VOC finishes, passive solar orientation, on site water retention and filtration, and water efficient landscaping.
