GREENCITYBUILDINGCOMPANY is the architect for this highland park apartment building renovation, in the city of los angeles and immmediately adjacent to light rail.
although a seemingly straighforward renovation of an existing building, the project faced budget constraints, issues with MEP coordination, and the requirement for city review in the historic preservation overlay zone (non-contributor). the updated building successfully addressed energy requirements and modern usage requirements together with a significantly updated shell and improved unit amenities and finishes.
