GREENCITYBUILDINGCOMPANY is the architect for the figueroa apartments located in highland park, an urban los angeles neighborhood within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and services.
located in a mixed density and use neighborhood and on figueroa street, the project is dense and modern while still site specific and a response to the surrounding development. the project employs a modified traditional roofline yet remains modern. the project employs a density bonus under state law to increase density while also providing affordable housing. a typical wood frame structure over concrete podium is provided.
